Golfers from all regions of Wales and England have raised nearly £2,500 for R.A.B.I with a golf challenge at Henlle Park in Oswestry.
The event, which is now a popular fixture on the regional golfing calendar, attracted 24 teams. The sun shone on the winning team who had travelled a long distance from Cwmrhydneuadd Golf Club in Ceredigion.
Agri Advisor Solicitors, team pictured above, were the main sponsor of the event and Rhodri Jones from Agri Advisor assisted with the presentation of awards.
Linda Jones, R.A.B.I regional manager for Wales, said: “We are delighted that the day raised £2,464.66 for R.A.B.I. Yet again we enjoyed fabulous weather and I’d like to thank Agri Advisor, a firm of agricultural specialist solicitors, who is very much aware of the challenges facing many farming families, for sponsoring the golf day. Their support was very much appreciated.”
Becky Davies, R.A.B.I regional manager for the West Midlands, added: “We had an enjoyable day and I would like to thank all who contributed to the success, including Wynnstay, Molson Coors Brewery, Wenlock Edge Farm Shop, Cheshire Farm Ice Cream (team pictured above), Lloyds Animal Feeds, Kerry Vale Vineyard and of course, Henlle Park Golf Club, our wonderful hosts.”
