Welsh farmer Tom Jones donated a percentage of the proceeds from his new book. He presented a cheque for £250 to regional manager Linda Jones at the Merioneth Show.
Tom farms in Plascoch, Dolanog and serves as the vice-president of the Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA). The book, titled ‘Rhwng Dau Glawdd’, takes excerpts and interesting anecdotes from Tom’s diary during 2015. It incorporates stories about living and working on the family farm as well as his duties as a member of the European Economic and Social Committee.
Linda said: “I’d like to thank Tom for choosing to support R.A.B.I. A lot of hard work went into publishing this book and the money he donated will be put to good use helping farming people in financial need throughout Wales.”
