Beaufort House, our residential care home in Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset, is welcoming enquiries for places in the home. Enquiries are also welcome for Beaufort Court – 12 spacious luxury flats adjoining the main house, for people wishing to live more independently. The flats are linked to the emergency call system and tenants are welcome to join in with the activities in the main house.
Making the move into residential care is a big decision but it shouldn’t fill you with fear or a sense of dread. R.A.B.I owns and runs two residential care homes; Beaufort House in Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset and Manson House in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
Although these homes are primarily for people from farming backgrounds, applications are welcome from all sections of the community.
Beaufort House is situated on Rectory Road, just a short walk from the seafront at Burnham-on-Sea. The There are 33 en-suite rooms, 22 single rooms, six double rooms and five suites.
Beaufort House received an overall rating of ‘outstanding’ from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) following inspections at the end of 2016. The CQC is the independent regulator for all health and social care services in England. It is estimated that less than one per cent of care homes in England and have received an outstanding overall rating from the CQC.
The CQC also rated Beaufort House outstanding for ‘caring’ and for being ‘well-led’. The home was rated good for safety, effectiveness and responsiveness.
