Martin Newton, from Barclays, quizzed supporters in Lincolnshire and helped raise £1,700 in the process.
Organised by Barclays’ Neil Davies in conjunction with R.A.B.I, the quiz was held at The Corn Exchange in Bourne, Lincolnshire in aid of R.A.B.I and LRSN. Guests were treated to a fish and chips supper while they answered questions. The Roythornes were the winning team, taking home a trophy and the prize of prosecco.
Mary Martin, regional manager for the East Midlands, said: “I’d like to thank Mark Pearson, from Barclays, for his match funding at this event. Barclays have been incredibly supportive of this event and the funds they’ve helped to raise will go towards supporting farmers in financial hardship.”
