R.A.B.I’s Cambridgeshire committee have come up a novel new activity which allows supporters to raise funds, get some exercise and explore local farmland – a dog walk or ramble on private countryside.
The host venue for the inaugural event was Sacrewell Farm, north of Peterborough, with three trails on offer depending on ability. Everyone was welcome, especially dogs. Ramblers were offered a cup of hot homemade soup along the way and there were information points around the trails to find out more about the landscape.
At the end of the walk was a the chance to take part in welly wanging to win a model tractor and find out more about the local YFC group Newborough YFC.
Although the day started fine the weather quickly turned. Thank you to everyone who braved the rain to attend!
