80 people packed into the tea room of the Isle of Wight Lavender Farm to enjoy a fabulous fun Christmas carol evening with the room filled with chattter, laughter and beautiful singing voices.
Canon Graham Morris from Ryde coordinated the carols, readings, funny stories and played keyboard with Karen Sheath accompanying on piano.
Howard Johnson re-told his holiday adventures and risked rugby stories which had the crowd in tears! ‘We Three Kings’ and a country edition of the ’12 Days of Christmas’ also had everyone in fits of laughter – a great way to get in the spirit of Christmas.
A massive thank you to everyone who supplied food, helped on the night and donated raffle prizes. The evening raised an amazing £800.
Special thanks to Reuben Abbott and family for allowing us to use their tea room.
