R.A.B.I is delighted to have been selected as the charity partner for Cereals 2017. This is the second year in a row that R.A.B.I has been chosen as show charity.
Cereals is the UK’s leading arable industry event, attracting over 24,000 farmers, agronomists, and industrial professionals. 2017 is the 40th year of the event and it will be held on June 14th-15th at Boothby Graffoe, Lincoln, LN5 0AS. Tickets are available from their website.
R.A.B.I will be represented at stand 836 on both days of the show with special guest Clarabelle, the charity’s beautiful fibreglass artwork that was entered into Cow Parade Surrey 2016. This will be a great opportunity to speak to R.A.B.I’s staff and supporters and find out more about what the charity does.
Funds raised from the exit donation will go to R.A.B.I to help farming people in need. Last year, £3,600 was raised at the Cereals event.
Suzy Deeley, Corporate Development Manager at R.A.B.I said: “We are thrilled to be working with Cereals in 2017. Every year hundreds of new people ask R.A.B.I for help due to illness, accidents, animal disease, family breakdown or extreme weather. Last year we gave out £2.1 million in grants and our work is funded primarily by donations and money raised at events arranged by our county committees of volunteers.
“Working with Cereals 2017 will help us to raise awareness about what we do and we look forward to an exciting and successful partnership.”
R.A.B.I is looking for volunteers who can spare a little time to help collect the exit donation. If you or anyone you know might be interested in supporting the charity, please contact Suzy Deeley.
