Parishioners from the united benefice of Acton, Church Minshull, Worleston and Wettenhall, together with members of the local agricultural community and R.A.B.I supporters gathered earlier this month in the new Horticulture Building at Reaseheath College for a Plough Sunday service.
Afterwards, attendees enjoyed a soup and bread lunch very kindly donated by the college followed by cakes and tray bakes provided by members of the church and the R.A.B.I committee. Musical accompaniment was provided by the music group of St Mary’s Church, Acton.
The service was led by Vicar of the ‘Cross Country Parishes’ of the benefice, the Revd Anne Lawson and the address was from The Bishop of Chester. A total of £333 was raised for the charity.
Many thanks go to Rev Lawson for coordinating and leading the service and for her valuable and continued support of R.A.B.I.
