Coopers Country hosted a fantastic afternoon of clay shooting at a beautiful spot in Coddenham.
12 teams of four entered the event, with entrants of all ages from 14 up to 60+. There were five stands, clays being shot from all angles and some difficult shots in the wood.
The competition was great with many individuals coming close to the top slot. A presentation was made with a prize for the worst shot as well! The winning team won with 142 points and the team in second place scored a close 139. A day’s pheasant shooting was also auctioned off, kindly donated by Graeme Keep.
The afternoon was rounded off with a delicious supper of venison burgers, salad, home-made cakes and beer provided by Sycamore Farm.
Thank you to all the teams who came along and joined in and to Neil and Julie and their team at Coopers Country for making the day run so smoothly. The event raised an amazing £886.
We will make sure the clay shoot runs again next year, keep the same weekend free in June 2017!
