Deersbrook Farm in Braintree hosted a beef tasting event to celebrate Great British Beef Week. The event raised £400.
Guests were treated to a glass of English fizz on arrival. Local chef Alan Paton cooked a taster menu of six starter, using beef that the farm had produced itself. This was paired with local wines and beers from Baythorne Wines and Bishop Nick Brewery. Guests also enjoyed a roast beef dinner and finished their meals off with a chocolate pudding.
Regional Manager Lucy Bellefontaine said: “It was a great evening despite being a little cold. Thanks to Deersbrook Farm for hosting a great event.”
