The Duke of Northumberland is allowing R.A.B.I Northumberland committee to use his castle for a fundraising dinner and dance.
Last year, R.A.B.I gave out more than £66,000 in Northumberland alone and gives out around £2m in grants in England and Wales every year.
R.A.B.I’s Northumberland committee is staging a black tie dinner and dance in the guest hall of Alnwick Castle on Friday November 13.
Sally Conner, R.A.B.I regional manager for the North East, said: “As you can imagine, we feel privileged that the Duke of Northumberland has been kind enough to let us use his guest hall for what should be a very enjoyable evening. R.A.B.I plays an important role within the Northumberland farming community, helping farmers, farmworkers and their families in times of financial hardship. No one knows when ordinary, everyday life is going to be turned upside down and dealing with financial burdens alone can have a huge impact on family life.”
Tickets for the Alnwick Castle dinner cost £50 per head, including a drinks reception, three course dinner and wine on the table. The evening gets underway at 7pm. To book tickets or to reserve a table (seats 10) ring Stoke Frater on 07977 441381 or Warwick Milne on 07974 360629.
