Congratulations go to R.A.B.I’s Dorset Committee who have been awarded The Sam Taylor Cup for their ‘Balloon Debate‘. The award is presented each year to the person(s) or committee who organised a new or stand-alone fundraising event which raised the most money and/or greater awareness for R.A.B.I.
The Balloon Debate involved celebrity speakers, including Julian Fellowes and Kate Aide, who chose well-known characters and argued the case as to why they should not be thrown out of a sinking balloon! A lively debate followed and an extremely successful auction.
The event drew a completely new audience to R.A.B.I, making it an excellent awareness raiser as well as raising over £13,000. Thanks to all involved.
