A memorial farmhouse breakfast raised £372 for R.A.B.I. Farm Stay in Herriot, North Yorkshire hosted the breakfast in honour of Valerie Anderson, a founding member of the organisation who recently passed away.
Farm Stay enables farmers to advertise their bed & breakfasts, glamping, shepherds huts, and more. Valerie had been involved since it was established in 1983, when it was known as The Farm Holiday Bureau. She was also a keen supporter of R.A.B.I and her son, David Anderson, is currently the North Yorkshire committee’s chairman.
Sally Conner, R.A.B.I regional manager, said: “Valerie was so kind and always came to meetings and supported us when we held fundraisers. She will be sadly missed.”
