Farm Stay UK recently raised £500 with a raffle at their annual general meeting (AGM).
Farm Stay enables farmers to advertise their bed & breakfasts, glamping, shepherds huts, and more.
Each year, the organisation hosts its AGM in a different county where members enjoy a two night break including a gala dinner and outings to the county’s sights. Cheshire Farm Stay hosted their most recent meeting.
Guests visited Arley Hall, a beautiful country house in the area, and the Lovell Telescope at Jodrell Bank Observatory. They also explored the Duke of Westminster’s farm, before travelling to John Bownes Ltd. where they had an entertaining afternoon seeing the vintage collection of agricultural tractors.
At their evening gala dinner they held a raffle. This raised £1,000 for their chosen charities. R.A.B.I was honoured to be one of these, receiving a donation of £500.
