From May 13 to 19, Cows On Tour will bring the farmyard into the school yard in Wales.
The group, which is made up of Welsh farmers, has been running for five years and aim to educate children about where their food comes from. This year they are raising funds for R.A.B.I and the DPJ Foundation.
For one week in May, Cows On Tour will be visiting five schools with livestock and machinery in tow. Children will learn about life as a farmer and have the chance to take part in activities like milking a model cow. The resources will then be available to local farmers to carry on sharing farming stories.
In the evenings Cows On Tour will be hosting a number of charity events to raise funds, with activities such as football, tug of war, and a sack race. In order to do this they need help from local farming people to steward events and share their stories.
