The annual Derbyshire auction preview evening, held at the Hansons Auction Centre in Etwall, generated more than £2,000.
The auction centre was set up by auctioneer Charles Hanson, known for TV shows Bargain Hunt and Antiques Road Trip. Spearheaded by committee member Sue Hall, the event welcomed 60 guests to preview items from the upcoming Hansons fine art auction. Guests also had the chance to get their own items valued.
After tucking into a buffet, which had been provided by committee members, guests explored the auction area. A highlight of the evening was the antique carousel.
Mary Martin, regional manager for the East Midlands, said: “Hansons Auctioneers have been supporting R.A.B.I for a numbers of years and yet again they’ve held a successful event. I’d also like to thank Ruth Bamford, from Barclays, for her match-funding.”
