This year’s Kent NFU inter branch clay shoot took place at Willow Farm Shooting Club near Tenterden on Saturday 14 May.
The event has been going since 1970 and last year was won by Rochester NFU and so the organisation and hosting of this year’s event fell to them.
Prizes are awarded for first, second and third placed NFU team, High Gun, Skeet and Best Non-NFU Team. Over the years Rochester NFU have won the title around 15 times, with Maidstone chasing them with around 10 victories. This year there was a brand new winning team – Ashford NFU.
Many thanks to Karen Smeed, Rochester and Dartford Group Secretary, for organising the event which raised £625 for R.A.B.I.
