R.A.B.I was pleased to once again attend LAMMA at Peterborough Showground in January.
The two-day machinery show is a busy, but often chilly, opportunity for us to meet with the many farmers and associates who are looking for the next bit of kit for their business! From combine harvesters, tractors, sprayers, muck spreaders and toppers to pea harvesters, you name it, you can find it here.
This year we were lucky to have a new location at the show, inside Hall 7 which is the business hall. It was a great spot as not only was it warmer in the hall but we also had a good flow of people to talk to.
Visitors to the stand had the chance to win a model Cat tractor, kindly donated by Kramp, and a lovely cow print by Lauren’s Cows. The raffle was drawn at the end of day two and raised over £100. Congratulations to Stuart Papworth who won the tractor and P.J. Lee and Sons of Ely won the print. Thank you to all who came to say hello and find out about what we do and how we help farmers.
We were also very pleased to be visited by representatives of East of England Agricultural Society who stopped by to present us with a cheque for £736.80 (pictured top) raised from the sale of lambs at the East of England Smithfield Festival at Peterborough Showground. Many thanks to everyone who donated their auction proceeds to us.
