An auction at this year’s Royal Cornwall Show in aid of three farming charities will feature some sought after prizes.
Visitors to the show will be able to bid on lots including a sheep rollover crate worth around £900, a signed Liverpool FC football and the star attraction given their recent Premier League success, a signed Leicester City FC football shirt! Both are signed by the whole team and come with certificates of authenticity.
Local auctioneer Edd Buckland will conduct the event in the Cornish Mutual Pavilion on the evening of Friday 10 June. Funds raised will go to all three Farming Help charities including R.A.B.I.
This is the third year that the auction has featured at the show and it has grown considerably every year.
Many thanks to the event’s main supporter, Barclays, for their match funding and to Alistair Mackie, Barclays Regional Agricultural Manager, for securing the football lots through their sponsorship of the Premier League.
Alistair said,“Barclays Agriculture is very pleased to be associated with the R.A.B.I and Addington Fund. We have been keen supporters for many years which was generously recognised this year by being awarded the Dennis Brown shield by the R.A.B.I. We are delighted to be able to be able to support the charity auction again this year.”
