On Sunday 20 March, over 80 competitors took part in a ploughing match at Elms Farm, Nailstone, Leicestershire by kind permission of the Crawford family.
The event was organised by Richard Hewitt in conjunction with the Leicestershire branch of R.A.B.I to help raise funds. For the fourth year running the sun shone for the ploughmen and over £1,100 was raised.
It was fantastic to see ploughmen and women travel from as far afield as Cornwall, Yorkshire and Wales with many coming away with prizes. Congratulations to all of the prize winners:
