Staff at Limagrain made cakes and other treats for a bake off competition, raising £484 in the process.
Regional manager Mary Maud joined Limagrain’s Rob Cowling, Holly Sutcliffe, and Emily Short on the judges’ panel. They tasted all the treats in the morning, ready to announce the winners at the cream tea event that took place in the afternoon.
Carole Nesbitt won first place with her delicious lemon meringue cakes. Second place was awarded to Jess Storer for her banoffee cupcakes and third place went to Diana Mallows for her sausage rolls.
While staff tucked into scones baked by Emily Short, Mary talked about the work R.A.B.I does to help farming people through financial difficulties.
Mary said: “I’d like to thank Limagrain for inviting me to judge their competition – I wish every day at work involved cake! Their continued support is greatly appreciated.”
