On Sunday 10 April, Nottinghamshire R.A.B.I together with Nottinghamshire YFC, Nottinghamshire Rural Support and the Newark and Nottinghamshire Agricultural Society will organise a fundraising lunch under the banner ‘Nottinghamshire Agricultural Charities Luncheon’.
Sherwood MP Mark Spencer, who also farms in the county, will be the guest speaker and the aim of the event is to raise the profile and funds for the four causes who help support members of the Nottinghamshire rural community.
The lunch will be hosted at the Cedric Ford Pavillion on the Newark Showground with tickets priced at £30 which includes a three-course lunch and welcome drink. A fundraising auction and raffle will also take place to help boost funds with prizes so far including a day at the races, a horse and carriage ride and a lamb for the freezer.
