The 32nd annual Norfolk cocktail evening, held at the Norfolk Showground, raised around £5,000.
Two hundred guests gathered at the members’ pavilion a week before the Royal Norfolk Show.
Lucy Bellefontaine, regional manager for the east, said: “The weather was finally on our side this year. We were able to sit out on the grass and enjoy the sunshine.”
At R.A.B.I’s AGM the Norfolk committee was awarded the Hunter Farm Cup for this annual party. This recognition is given to the organisers of the regular fundraiser which raises the most money and/or awareness. Over the past 32 years, the committee has raised £157,000 with their cocktail party.
Lucy added: “Thank you to our longstanding main sponsors Brown and Co and Birketts. Without these two, the evening would not be the success it is.”
