Sir John White, chairman of the Norfolk committee, welcomed competitors from across the county, including a team comprising R.A.B.I staff and trustees, including chief executive Paul Burrows and chairman Malcolm Thomas.
It was a closely fought affair, with only six points separating the three top finishers. The winning team of six was led by local farmer Mike Garrod of Garvestone.
The event was held at East Tuddenham Village Hall and a catering team of volunteers, led by Jenny Youngs, served more than 150 light suppers. Emma Youngs returned again as the quiz’s popular organiser.
Funds raised by the quiz were bolstered by a raffle. One lucky winner, Helen Love, the wife of former Norfolk NFU chairman Thomas Love, took home a bouquet of 24 Queen of the Night tulips.
Anglia Farmers, Kettle Crisps, Arthur Howell and A&M Frary supported the event and helped to raise funds for R.A.B.I.
