Chepstow farmers David and Sue Maddocks raised £967 with their open garden event at Pen y Bryn Farm.
Guests were treated to an afternoon tea in a colourful marquee, which included homemade cakes, followed by a stroll through the garden. A raffle was held during the afternoon.
Gwilym Richards, Monmouthshire chair, said: “I’d like to thank David and Sue Maddocks for their kindness and generosity in allowing us to host this event at their home, as well as the committee members who worked extremely hard to put on an afternoon tea.”
R.A.B.I regional manager for Wales, Linda Jones, added: “We were incredibly fortunate that the sun shone at this event and David and Sue’s garden was a joy to see. A huge thanks also to our supporters who came along to the event.”
