The Pembrokeshire Ladies held an afternoon tea at Headland Farm in Ambleston, home of committee member Sue Belton. The event raised £2,200.
Guests were treated to Pimms or Prosecco on arrival in the farm’s gardens before enjoying a selection of sandwiches and homemade cakes. A raffle and an auction for a flight over the county for three people contributed to the funds raised.
Emily Davies, Pembrokeshire Ladies chair, said: “I’d like to thank everyone who attended our afternoon tea. It was a huge success and we are extremely grateful to businesses in Haverfordwest, Jason Slater of Haverfordwest Coin Machines and Prendergast Butchers for sponsoring our drinks. I would also like to thank all the committee members who worked very hard to bake a fabulous selection of cakes for everyone to enjoy.”
Katie Davies, vice-chair, added: “We’re so grateful to Sue and Monty Belton for providing us with the perfect location for our afternoon tea event. We’re so fortunate in Pembrokeshire to have some fantastic supporters.”
