Visitors to the stand were given the opportunity to admire the prize that some of the best players have held victoriously as well as take a ‘selfie’ and donate to the charity. Due to its value the Barclays Premier League Trophy was flanked by two security guards as the trophy is officially classed ‘priceless’. R.A.B.I national chairman, Chris Riddle, was the first to grab a picture with the prize (right) – despite owning up to the fact he was more a fan of the ‘other’ ball game.
Barclays agriculture team continue to be supportive of our work throughout the regions, often match-funding donations and providing hands-on support at fundraising events.
In other news, our new calendar, featuring the work of 13 of the country’s leading farming photographers, was launched at the NFU Mutual stand and the leaflet is now available to download.
Farming in Focus – R.A.B.I’s calendar for 2016 – is supported by the NFU Mutual Charitable Trust. The calendar features rural scenes donated by some of the best photographers in the industry as well as a special artistic-debut by R.A.B.I regional manager Sally Conner’s grandson, Sebastian, age 5.
All of the proceeds go to help people in need in the farming community. Download the Christmas card and calendar leaflet here, and then post your order or call the Card and Calendar Hotline number: 01268 888063.
