Local crowd-pleasers, The Radnor Twurzels, are back by popular demand to headline R.A.B.I’s Christmas carol concert at Welshpool Livestock Centre on Sunday 4 December.
The Twurzels perform a range of cabaret and comedy songs from the 1960’s onwards. They’ll be joined at the concert by Cogiau Llanfair (Plygain Party), Trannon Valley Voices and the fabulous Welshpool High School Band. The evening will be compered by Geraint Peate.
Montgomeryshire county chairman Gwyn Morris urged the public to support the event, saying: “It will be a fun and sociable community evening for all the family, with refreshments to follow.”
R.A.B.I. regional manager for Wales, Linda Jones, added: “Our Christmas concert at Welshpool is always a lovely event and we would like to thank the Livestock Centre for allowing us once again to host this concert at their premises. Farming is a vital industry, but farmers can get into difficulties through no fault of their own.”
Admission to the concert is free, but there will be a collection on the door for R.A.B.I.
