It’s here! It’s the weekend that charities and royal supporters have been waiting for. This Saturday and Sunday will see a host of parties up and down the country to thank HM The Queen for her support for community charities over the past 63 years.
The biggest party of them all will be The Patron’s Lunch on Sunday in London which we are excited to be attending, along with all of the other charities who have Her Majesty as their patron.
If you are having a royal do this weekend – maybe a picnic in the park or a cream tea in your garden, or just gathering to watch The Patron’s Lunch festivities live on BBC1 on Sunday, do think about asking for donations for R.A.B.I in recognition of Her Majesty’s role as our patron. All funds donated will go towards supporting farmers and farming families, here in England and Wales, who are facing financial difficulties.
Busy this weekend? Fear not, we are planning a whole summer of fundraising cake baking and cream teas, with a focus on good old British ingredients, so there is plenty of time to get involved!
