R.A.B.I received £360.50 from lamb auctions held at the English Winter Fair in Staffordshire.
The lambs had been entered into the first Royal Smithfield Single Butchers Lamb Class. Exhibitors were able to enter one lamb from a pair from either the untrimmed or trimmed class. The Royal Smithfield Club organised the creation of this new class and chose to donate a percentage of the money made from auctioning the lambs.
Kate Jones, regional manager for the West Midlands, said: “I’d like to thank all the competitors for entering the class and helping to raise funds for R.A.B.I. I’d also like to thank the Royal Smithfield Club for their continued support.”
