A day of clay shooting, hosted at Wood Farm, Chatteris, and organised by Sentry, raised £1,773.
Sentry, a large farming company based in Ipswich, hosts this event every other year. This year marked the sixth anniversary and attracted 60 competitors, who formed 15 teams of four. The guests took part in a 50 bird flush, and some took part in the optional 70 bird sporting competition.
As well as a fun day of shooting, guests were treated to a hot lunch and had the chance to enter a raffle.
Lucy Bellefontaine, regional manager for the East, said: “I want to thank Natwest and NFU Mutual, who provided prizes to the winners of the shoot, as well as all who donated raffle prizes. We’re also lucky to have the continued support of Sentry. A great day was had by all.”
