A team of five friends from Shropshire are part of the elite group of only seven people who have managed to successfully row the Amazon river.
Supporters of R.A.B.I in Shropshire were lucky enough to hear about their adventures and see photos of their journey at a recent meeting at Shawbury Village Hall.
Simon Furnival, Stephen Harpin and Stuart Manley talked about how they rowed through South America and answered questions about their amazing feat. The audience enjoyed hearing about the escapades of the rowers including brushes with pirates and alligators! A total of £700 was raised to support farmers in need.
