Lanacashire’s ‘Sing for Life’ concert, organised by Alison Gerrard, raised £4,222 for R.A.B.I and Cancer Research.
More than 200 people squeezed into Samlesbury Memorial Hall to enjoy the evening of entertainment. Guests were treated to twelve performances from local acts, including choirs, soloists, and a few trumpets and accordions.
Regional manager Georgina Lamb said: “I want to thank everyone involved who gave up their time to make the evening such a success. Alison and her team of helpers were involved in every aspect of the night, both behind the scenes and on stage.
“I also want to thank Judith Wilkinson from Barclays for their match-funding of £1,000.”
