Nick Bragg, a member of the Somerset Committee and owner of Frogmary Green Farm, won the South West regional award for his contribution to R.A.B.I. Lord Plumb presented Nick with his prize at the charity’s awards ceremony in Oxfordshire.
Last year, Nick ran three triathlons and raised more than £1,600. On top of that, Nick and his wife Claire host the annual Somerset Beef Dinner at their farm. Their most recent dinner raised £5,750 and they presented the cheque to R.A.B.I chairman Malcolm Thomas at the awards ceremony.
Joshua Hosier, R.A.B.I deputy chairman, said: “Nick is a godsend. Nothing is ever a problem and he goes above and beyond time after time, always smiling. He and his wife Claire have been and continue to be incredible supporters of R.A.B.I.”
Nick added: “My thanks go to Pam Wills, our regional manager. I have enjoyed the fun element of fundraising with the events we hold at Frogmary. Currently, I’m putting my challenge for next year together, which is to cycle across Canada.”
