R.A.B.I South West launched its summer raffle at the Devon county show. The raffle will be running through the summer to coincide with the South West’s show season. The winning tickets will be drawn on September 9th at the Frome Cheese Show.
There are three great top prizes up for grabs this year. First is a £250 voucher for Mole Valley Farmers. The second prize is a short break in a holiday home in Frome, donated by Liz Hoare and family.
The third prize is an original painting by Cornish artist Dick Twinney. The piece is titled Classic Perch – Barn Owl & Mike’s Tractor and has a gallery value of £1,500.
“I finished this special painting for this year’s R.A.B.I South West summer raffle. These are two subjects dear to my heart: old farm vehicles and the beautiful barn owl,” said Dick.
Dick will be at R.A.B.I’s stand at the Royal Cornwall Show, where his painting will be on display. “For many years I have shared their stand at the Royal Cornwall Show. It is something we really look forward to each year, such a social event, a time to catch up with old friends and make new ones, whilst helping an important, much needed charity.”
