The kitchens at Bartholomew Barn in Kirdford, West Sussex, were filled with laughter today as a team of happy helpers cooked and served 118 hearty full English breakfasts to R.A.B.I supporters.
An impressive £1,360 was raised after costs were deducted. It was a massive team effort so many thanks to everyone involved. Special thanks to Francis Attwell for very kindly allowing us to use her lovely wedding barn for the ninth year.
Pictured above, front row: Wendy Diggins (washing up), Helen Burden (plating up), Sally Field (R.A.B.I Regional Manager and cook); back row: Judy Burden (toast maker), Pauline Marks – PR (had a bad leg!), Tina Finch (front of house & orders), Jilll Grigor (washing up), Francel Attwell (owner of Bartholomew Barn), Richard Oatway (Star helper – did anything from filling the urn to swapping gas cylinders and supplying much needed coffee to everyone!), Keith Marks (toast deliverer), Howard Pullen (door and raffle man) and Margaret Barlow (from Imbhams Granary, suppliers of delicious muesli and homegrown cereal products). Thanks also, but not pictured, to Michelle Nudds from BASC and Amnada Harman (front of house and orders). What a team!
