Staff and volunteers from two farming charities will be cooking breakfasts at Stratford Livestock Market on Wednesday February 21 to raise funds for their work.
R.A.B.I and the Addington Fund will team-up in Stratford next month, with support from members of the Barclays agricultural team. The Addington Fund provides homes for farming families forced to leave the industry through no fault of their own.
R.A.B.I’s annual Farmhouse Breakfast campaign promotes everything that’s good about British produce in order to make winter a little warmer for families in serious hardship. Last winter, R.A.B.I served up more than 2,000 breakfasts across 28 campaign events to generate over £20,000.
Becky Davies, regional manager for Warwickshire, said: “Lots of people will be supporting our Farmhouse Breakfast campaign by hosting a breakfast event for friends, family or work colleagues and encouraging guests to make a donation to us. They are a lot of fun and the money generated makes a real difference to the lives of many.”
