The Suffolk Spring Lunch has become a staple in the local rural diary. Running for more than 20 years, each year tickets sell out faster than the last and a waiting list is needed.
The event is organised and run entirely by R.A.B.I’s Suffolk Committee, with all deserts being made by the ladies and the gents setting up and laying the tables.
120 people attended this year’s Spring Lunch at Stradbroke Community Centre; everyone enjoyed a glass of fizz on arrival, a lunch of cold meats, pies and salad, followed by homemade desserts, a cheese board and finally coffees.
The afternoon is a very social affair with lots of mingling and catching up. A raffle of over 20 prizes concluded the afternoon – thank you to everyone who donated a prize.
We are delighted that the lunch raised a very impressive £2,500.
