R.A.B.I’s Merseyside Committee held a teddy bears’ picnic and treasure hunt at Mere Brook House on the Wirral last weekend, kindly hosted by Donald and Lorna Tyson.
The sun shone on over 50 adults and 30 children with their teddy bears. Everyone had a great afternoon hunting down the 10 teddy bears that were hidden in the beautiful grounds of the House, followed by picnics on the lawn with Pimms and lots of bear-related fun including a name the teddy competition and a visit by Super Ted.
The idea came about following the committee receiving a donation of 20 teddy bears (pictured above) of all shapes and sizes. Many thanks to the Merseyside Committee for organising and hosting the afternoon which raised raised £600 for farmers in need.
