A carol service, held at the Thame Auction Mart in Oxfordshire, raised £1,480.
Organised by the Buckinghamshire committee, the event raised funds via an auction and a raffle, with match-funding from Barclays. R.A.B.I CEO Alicia Chivers joined committee members, staff from the auction mart, and new South Central regional manager Laura Ractliffe in the nativity. Laura took on the role of angel Gabriel and narrated the scene.
Reverend Jenny Edmans from the FCN compered the evening while Simon Draper of the mart took over the auction. Readings were given by committee chair Ginny Stollery and corporate development manager Suzy Deeley. The Chinnor Silver Training Band provided a seasonal musical backdrop while the audience sang carols.
