Leicestershire chairman Veronica Sutton received special recognition at R.A.B.I’s annual awards ceremony. The East Midlands regional award is presented to the committee or individual who deserve acknowledgement for their hard work in aid of R.A.B.I.
“Veronica spearheads the committee and works tirelessly to raise money and awareness for R.A.B.I,” said Malcolm Thomas, R.A.B.I chairman, “She is calm, enthusiastic, and has a great knowledge of who we are and what we do. She is brilliant.”
“This isn’t just for me, this is for my committee who are small but exceptionally supportive of me,” said Veronica. “It’s because of people in need that I am here pushing myself forward to support R.A.B.I. Hearing their stories make me more determined.”
Mary Martin, regional manager, made special mention of the great guidance, welcome, and support that she receives from Veronica.
