The Warwickshire committee raised £700 at their skittles night, held at the Barnacle Village Hall, near Coventry.
Seven teams entered the competition, each with 10 players. The teams were challenged with four rounds, each with a different type of skittle. The ‘Burton Bashers’ won the game and the top prize, which was a brace of pheasants.
Guests were then treated to a ploughman’s supper, followed by profiteroles with chocolate sauce.
Becky Davies, regional manager for Warwickshire, said: “I’d like to thank everyone who got involved with this event. The committee’s hard work paid off to raise £700.”
