This year we’re committed to making it the most successful yet so that we can continue to support farmers in need. With a lot of wacky welly activities planned all over the country, we hope that you’ll get involved too.
Running from 31st October – 8th November, this campaign is designed to be fun and to raise awareness of our work, as well as funds. We’d love you to join us – you can take part as individuals and families or as a school, club, college or work place. All you have to do is to think up a challenge or event involving wellies and ask people to sponsor you or make a donation.
Ideas range from tractor pulls, to welly-wanging competitions, wellies-to-work days, welly discos and welly pub-crawls – the opportunities are endless and there are more suggestions in our fundraising pack. Let us know what you’re planning, or, for your own free fundraising pack, contact Beth Steiner on 01865 811581 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
For those of you who are Twitter and Facebook savvy – keep an eye out from 2 November for #wellyweek2015 – we’ll be teaming up with clothing and welly company, Gumleaf Clothing and naturally enriched milk specialists, NEMi to bring you a social media competition with a muddy twist and amazing prizes! Click here for full terms and conditions.

All the money raised from Welly Week will support R.A.B.I’s welfare work. For example, it might help to fund a relief worker to help a farmer recovering from an accident, or provide a grant for someone in financial difficulty. Alternatively it might help to fund regular payments to one of our long-term beneficiaries, or provide specialist equipment for someone who is ill or disabled.
There are a number of ways to send us the funds once you’ve finished your event, you can post a cheque to: R.A.B.I, Shaw House, 27 West Way, Oxford OX2 0QH or visit our donation page.
Every year R.A.B.I spends around £2m on grants and helps around 2,000 farmers and farmworkers of all ages. We change lives for the better.
If you can help us, thank you!
