The Westlands Farm Shop, in Shedfield, near Wickham, Hampshire, hosted a farmhouse breakfast and raised £300.
This event was part of R.A.B.I’s Farmhouse Breakfast Campaign. Held throughout January and February every year, the campaign aims to highlight everything that’s good about British farming and produce. At the same time, it raises funds for farming families who are struggling financially.
More than 45 people were treated to a Full English at the Westlands Farm Shop. The bacon and sausages came straight from the farm, while the rest of the meal was locally sourced. A raffle and a wellington sale added to the fundraising pot.
Sally Field, regional manager for the South East, said: “I’d like to thank the Collett family, who run the farm, for hosting this breakfast and their continued support.”
