The fifth annual Farmhouse Breakfast at Winkworth Farm in Wiltshire raised £2,042.
Winkworth Farm, built in the 18th century, sits on the edge of the Cotswolds. Around 85 guests tucked into a locally-sourced full English in one of the farm’s converted barns. Malcolm Thomas, R.A.B.I chairman attended the event.
Funds were raised through ticket sales and a raffle, with match-funding from Barclays Agriculture.
Jenni Green, regional manager for South Central, said: “I’d like to thank Melanie and Jeremy Newman for letting us use their venue for this event. Sue and Andy from Waring’s Catering did a fabulous job and produce was donated by Sherston Free Range Eggs and The Tracklement Company.”
