We are hugely grateful to the NFU Mutual Charitable Trust for selecting RABI as one of eight national charities to receive additional funding in 2021.
The Trustees have provided RABI with a donation of £100,000 in response to the ongoing challenges faced by communities across the UK.
High demand for RABI services
“This much-appreciated donation will enable us to continue providing critical services at a time when the demand for support is high,” explains Daniel Whitbread, RABI’s Director of Operations.
“With many of our fundraising events cancelled, this contribution will undoubtedly deliver significant benefits to many in our community.”
“This additional funding will enable us to reach more farming people throughout England and Wales. Particularly those experiencing poor wellbeing through the challenges that have arisen over the past twelve months,” adds Daniel.
Helping charities to support communities
Lindsay Sinclair, Group Chief Executive of NFU Mutual, said: “A recent NFU Mutual survey showed that one in five respondents have felt uncertain how to cope with the potential emotional implications of the pandemic.1
“These feelings are driving a growing need for practical and emotional support, and we want to help these charities meet the increased demand in our communities.”
