The popular Suffolk spring lunch returned for its 23rd consecutive year, welcoming 114 guests.
The event was held at the Stradbroke Community Centre and guests were greeted with a glass of Pimms. Lunch included locally sourced cooked ham, beef, and poached salmon. The Suffolk committee prepared a chocolate roulade and apple crumble for dessert.
Guests had the chance to win a picnic hamper, a pamper hamper, or a gardening hamper in the raffle. They also played a round of heads and tails to win a cash prize.
Lucy Bellefontaine, regional manager for the East, said: “As always, the Suffolk lunch was a great success. It’s a fantastic opportunity for those in the farming community to get together and catch up, all while raising funds for R.A.B.I.”
