On Friday 7 June, our Oxfordshire Committee hosted their first-ever charity golf day in support of RABI, and it was a great success. A total of 20 teams participated, bringing together players from various backgrounds and different levels of golfing experience for a competition with a cause.
We want to congratulate our winners, ‘Par then Bar’, who were closely followed by Drayton Farming Club in second place and Stockcroft in third place.
Our special thanks go out to Andrew, Ross, and the rest of the Hadden Hill Golf Club team for their generosity and assistance in the lead-up to the event and on the day itself.
Last but not least, we would like to express our gratitude to Temple Golf Club for kindly donating a raffle prize and to our fantastic volunteers – without them, these events would not be possible.
Overall, the event raised more than £2,200! These incredible funds will enable RABI to continue providing the farming community with emotional, practical and financial support when they need it most. Well done to all involved.
