On Tuesday 19 November, RABI will host an Autumn Reception in Parliament to introduce the new intake of rural MPs to the charity and highlight the vital support available to the farming communities they represent.
RABI recognise the need to make an even greater impact and it is essential that the voices of our farming community are heard. In hosting this reception, RABI are committed to bringing together those who can help drive meaningful change. The event will include addresses from RABI Chief Executive Alicia Chivers and Farming Minister Daniel Zeichner MP.
During the evening, RABI will also be providing an update on its Return to School Grant programme, an initiative that is making a positive difference to the lives of thousands of farming families. As part of this, the charity will be showcasing a short film on the grant’s significant impact beyond just financial aid.
Guests will have the opportunity to view the winning images from Farmers Weekly’s photography exhibition, Farming People Through the Seasons, and meet some of the photographers in person. This exhibition is part of RABI’s partnership with RSABI as Farmers Weekly celebrates their 90th anniversary.
RABI is looking forward to working together with rural MPs to explore and implement solutions that address the challenges faced by the farming communities.
