On Tuesday 10 December, RABI’s North Yorkshire Committee held its annual carol service at Leyburn Auction Mart, drawing a large turnout of local farmers and their families.

The festive evening featured enthusiastic carol singing from Leyburn Band, along with mulled wine and mince pies served by the Mart Café. RABI was also pleased to welcome the Archbishop of York, who delivered a thoughtful address to guests.

“Bringing the farming community together is at the heart of the work of RABI’s volunteers, and carol services like this are the highlight of the season,” said Sally Conner, RABI’s North East Regional Manager, “We were honoured to have Archbishop Stephen in attendance this year, joining the local farming community in celebrating Christmas”.

RABI extends its thanks to everyone who joined and contributed to making the event such a success, and looks forward to next year’s gathering.
